New project, Seek my song

Go check out my new baby, Seek my Song

It's forum to find that song you can't get out of your head!

Seek my Song is an idea I had some day and I decided to actually give it a life. Has I pass a great part of me spare time seeking for music I heard in a club, on the radio, in a movie or in a commercial,

I thought I shouldn't be the only one. With years I became good at looking for songs with searching for songs with search engines on the Internet so I thought me and other people who also know and listen to a lot of music and know how to look for they're music on the Internet could help others find what they're looking for.

I remember looking for a guitar solo I heard when I was young and recording my voice imitating the sound of the guitar in this solo and posting it to some Usenet forum, Well, believe it or not, someone found it, it was Samba Pa Ti by Santana. I was very pleased and it gave me the intention to help others in return.

It focuses on popular, electronic and oldies music since these are the main points of interest in music those days, but there is also a section for other types of music.

Massari - Rush to the floor

You probably already know Massari for Smile for me, Be Easy and Real Love, but I just heard Rush the floor on radio and it's quite good. I think this song has a potential to become a big hit single. It's on his same "Massari" album released in 2005.

Firefox 1.5 officially launched

It's officially there, with a new site! www.mozilla.com

I just saw that the add-ons site also has a nice redesign. And in top of that I discovered the del.icio.us extension on the front page, I'll give it a try and see if it as good as my personal favorite, StumbleUpon.

Here is my first impression on FF 1.5: I already noticed a couple of bugs like the fact the it all mess up when I try to use some drag and drop in a text box and that I can't add a search engine in the search box, but I'm sure it'll be corrected pretty fast. But apart from that, it's pretty nice and fast!

You'll see why 1984 won't be like "1984."

Today, I rediscovered this masterpiece of ad aired in 1984 during the superbowl by apple computer annoncing a revolution in personnal computers (revolution stopped by Microsoft).

But for those that haven't see the ad, go to http://www.duke.edu/~tlove/mac.htm
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1984_%28television_commercial%29

This piece of advertising is so well done and futuristic for the time that
the US TV Guide made it number one in their "50 Greatest Commercials of All Time"

New Golf GTI Ad

I just found out a cool Ad for the new VW Golf GTI on ephinx.com.

The Ad is a remake of the singin' in the rain classic with a cool new futurist dance on a Mint Royale remix of the original tune.

Well, judge for yourself:
